on friday, mom and i spent a gorgeous morning at the putman place, a farm in somerset, pa., where you can cut your own flowers, herbs, and even asparagus, right from the fields. it’s just a few miles down the road from hidden valley resort, and we’re definitely going back! (p.s. that would be me trying to pet the farm’s resident border collie, liz, and take her picture at the same time. nice.)
wouldn’t it be lovely to leave the city today and lounge in the natural spring water pool at fallingwater? a girl can dream!
repping my pennsylvania dutch roots by whipping up some whoopie pies.
